Individualised Living Options (ILO) is an NDIS support service that offers a wide range of living choices for people with disabilities. It provides flexible, tailored support packages to help you live in a home of your choice, with the option to live alone or with others you select.
About Our ILO Services
If your home and living goals include exploring individualised options, ILO might be the right choice for you! At Morris Care, we work closely with you, your family, and your support network to design a living arrangement that best suits your needs. This could mean:
- Sharing your home with housemates.
- Living in the home of a host family.
- Living independently with customised support.
How Morris Care Can Help You with ILO
Our experienced team will help you:
- Understand which supports are best for you and guide you through the necessary steps.
- Get to know you and understand your hopes, needs, and vision for your new home.
- Explore and identify all your living options.
- Decide where you want to live, who you want to live with, and what support you’ll need.
Together, we’ll create a personalised plan that combines various supports and living arrangements to help you achieve your goals.
Benefits of Individualised Living Options
ILO provides you with greater freedom and flexibility in choosing how and where you live. For instance, you might prefer living in an apartment with in-home support, or you may want to live in a house in the suburbs with friends and shared support.
We can help you determine whether SIL or ILO is the best fit for your circumstances.
Which NDIS Plan Categories Fund ILO?
ILO is funded under Core Supports – Assistance with Daily Living in your NDIS plan and is listed as a separate line item. It’s important to note that the NDIS does not cover costs related to rent, property, board, transport, or day-to-day expenses like food and activities.
